Job summary

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Strategic Accounts Manager based in Brussels, Belgium. In this role, you will effectively represent and sell the full Red Hat portfolio of solutions to a targeted list of strategic enterprise accounts within a designated region. You'll be responsible for bringing leadership to a team selling environment by building a strategy for each assigned account and following through on that strategy, while maintaining the highest level of integrity. You will focus on growing our business with these accounts from a range of current use by using our matrix organization. We'll need you to have extensive enterprise software sales experience, as well as be comfortable selling at the executive level. Primary job responsibilities

  • Sell the complete Red Hat portfolio of solutions and services within your assigned enterprise accounts
  • Promote the Red Hat value proposition to prospective customers within a highly competitive market
  • Manage in parallel multiple complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing
  • Develop and maintain relationships at all levels within accounts, e.g., operations, engineering, architecture, and executive, to grow our footprint and revenue by focusing on our complete portfolio
  • Excel within a fast-paced organization
  • Manage strategic, advisory relationship with customers

Required skills

  • Experience selling in both direct and partner model
  • Knowledge of and passion for open source technology
  • Sound knowledge of cloud technology
  • Good Red Hat solution understanding to be able to articulate Red Hat values to different levels within the customer organization
  • Demonstrated market and competitive knowledge
  • Experience selling cloud or consulting solutions to Fortune 500 customers
  • Experience managing accounts in a matrix organization
  • Capacity for original and creative thinking with the ability to be open to new approaches
  • Highly motivated, passionate and able to work as part of a team
  • Ability to translate functionalities to business capabilities
