Job summary

The Red Hat Global Partner Marketing team is looking for a Senior Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you’ll chart the next phase of our Red Hat Connect for Business Partners portal and associated partner engagement and productivity tools. You will develop and guide a team responsible for the overall partner experience across all digital touchpoints and guide new capabilities, including business and enablement capabilities delivered via the portal through which we collaborate and enable our ecosystem of partners with whom Red Hat jointly goes to market. You will work closely with our Global Partner Community, Red Hat’s Business Units, Alliance and Channel Sales teams, Operations, IT, as well as Field and Global Marketing teams to define partner experience and create a high-value opportunities that align to Red Hat’s strategic initiatives. We’ll need you to build end-to-end partner marketing programs in support of Red Hat growth targets. As a Senior Manager, you’ll work both upstream and downstream to define and deliver a partner experience across multiple platforms so partners can easily find and understand what is available to them to help them grow their Red Hat business and collaborate with other partners.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the strategy, planning, and roadmap of the Red Hat Connect for Business Partners portal and associated tools to a global community of users
  • Establish a programmatic approach that continuously improves the portal (i.e. proper identification and permissions, navigation and capabilities) to deliver partner-appropriate benefits and value
  • Ensure focused demand generation campaigns, aligned to Red Hat’s long term business objectives, are effectively delivered via the partner portal and other digital channels with focus on expanding our reach to enterprise and mid-market customers
  • Communicate the complete set of capabilities available on the portal, including co-marketing capabilities, partner business programs, enablement and relevant content, etc.
  • Manage and track accountability for delivering the portal roadmap, including recommendations on make vs. buy solutions
  • Manage vendors that provide user experience (UX) and development capabilities
  • Actively lead cross-functional collaboration to guide partner-centric agenda and priorities and collaborate with various internal teams and departments to achieve success
  • Routinely and concisely track and report progress and outcomes with executive stakeholders
  • Recommend and adopt best practices based on industry norms, partner input, and vendor capabilities
  • Approach multidimensional program development with a mobile-first mindset to build and maintain a full portfolio of marketing and sales capabilities delivered to partners

Required skills

  • 7+ years of related experience in a global software company
  • Proven project management experience with partner portals or responsive web properties and mobile applications
  • Proven vendor or agency management skills
  • Experience with channel enablement platforms and vendors
  • Proven track record of delivering results against KPIs
  • Demonstrated ability to gather portal requirements from multiple stakeholders and distill these into a sequenced roadmap and phased project plan
  • Experience in partner marketing automation and content syndication
  • Motivated, innovative, with creative and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented and collaborative
  • High level of commitment and passion for delivering results; ability to meet deadlines and handle numerous projects simultaneously
  • Passionate about enabling the partner community and building open-minded and collaborative environment
  • Proven leadership and solid mentorship skills
  • Budget management and accountability experience
